Can expand, cannot factorise.
Expansion is straightforward — follow the steps, get the answer. Factorisation is the opposite. You need to spot the pattern first. Students who haven't practised enough just stare at the question and freeze.

Algebraic fractions feels like a foreign language.
Once letters go into the numerator and denominator, a lot of students mentally check out. They apply the wrong rules, skip steps, and drop marks on questions that are actually manageable once you know what you're doing.

Word problems — no idea where to start.
Setting up the equation is the skill. Most students can solve it once it's in front of them. Getting it there is what we spend time on.

Get stuck after plotting graphs, losing most of the marks.
Plotting the curve is only the first part. The marks are in what comes after — finding roots, reading the graph, connecting it back to the equation. Students who only know how to plot fall apart here.

I was a former student 1 year ago. Enrolled in Chemistry class that was conducted by Jeremy. I would say that Jeremy is a pretty patient teacher, always ready to help students in need. He would always stay back to help us clarify questions if needed, and I would say that he is a really great teacher in guiding students when answering chemistry questions.
I would say for the teaching materials... It is pretty concise, quick to the point and effective.
Under his guidance, I jumped from B4 to an A2 for combined science, and I would want to say thank you for helping me to pass my chemistry O level with a breeze!

I was really struggling with chemistry before I joined Mr Neo’s classes, I just couldn’t grasp the concepts at all. But after attending his lessons, things started to make so much more sense! Mr Neo has a great way of simplifying tough topics into smaller, more manageable parts, which made them much easier to understand and apply. He also connects different topics together, which helped me see the bigger picture and strengthened my understanding of each topic. His notes are very clear and thorough, making it easy to follow along and review. Through his lessons, chemistry became much more approachable and enjoyable for me!

After 3.5 months of tutoring by Aimer Ang, my daughter was able to pass her O level E Maths (F9 to B3). I must say that my daughter's scores of 27 in her mid-year exam was all but a goner. I was hoping that someone could help her to at least pass her E Maths. After searching around, I decided to let my daughtet try the Maths tuition at The Classroom in Hougang. I started to notice the growing interest of my daughter's interest in Maths under the guidance of Aimer. She would contact Aimer when she faced Maths problems. Aimer was a very good motivator who influenced my daughter's interest and desire to work hard for improvement. Who knows......my daughter could have score A1 if she had started tuition with Aimer earlier

after failing for the entire sec 3 year, i started physics tuition with The Classroom. before taking o levels, my physics grade was d7 but my o level results ended up improving to a b3. im grateful for the patience, passion and dedication mr anthony goh has shown to his students.

Even though I joined The Classroom for barely a year, with the help of Mr Goh, my physics grade improved from B4 to A2 in o levels. During lessons, I was able to better understand physics concepts and the use of physics in real world context. For those who are struggling with physics, I believe that The Classroom would surely help them in improving their physics grade. 🙂

My child took lessons from Mr Jeremy Neo (Chem) and Mr Anthony Goh (Phy). Mr Neo and Mr Goh were patient and efficient in teaching and explaining concepts that my child previously struggled to understanding. The Classroom notes and extra consultation were beneficial in helping her understand better. Highly reccomend sending your child here for tution if they are in need of Science tuition!

Mr Anthony Goh has helped my son with much patience and guidance and helped him to secure an A1 in his O Level after just 1 year of tuition , previously he scored D7-E8 in his examinations and lacked the confidence to answer math sums , especially algebra. However after joining The Classroom in January 2024 he has since shown great improvement and scored A1 for his preliminary examination as well as his O Level examinations. The teachers at The Classroom are patient and efficient in their work . I HIGHLY recommend you to send your children there if they are in need of help for Math and Science.

Great place to learn. Teachers fun, open and entertaining. Engages the student and does not make fun or dismiss their questions. Went from c6 to b3 in olevels, gave small booklet of notes for us to revise before exams. Overall a recommended place to have tuition/ extra classes at. Highly recommended.

A lot of notes were provided and there were many chemistry resources like video recordings, worksheets, and past year papers. The pace online was good, although it could be a little slower. Mr Neo would always check in with those online as well as in class and always answer our in chat questions promptly and clearly.

I came to this tuition center to improve my O-level Chemistry. Well taught lessons and consults by my teachers helped me foster a better appreciation and understand of the subject. For my WA1, I scored an F9 for Chemistry and immediately enrolled into this tuition center to seek help. Through thorough classes I was ultimately able to improve my grade into an A1 in the O-levels. The classes definitely played a huge role in helping me achieve the grade.

I took the online tuition course and the teachers were extremely helpful! The course included a lot of extra useful source materials, covering certain weaker topics in greater depth and detail, and pacing me better towards preparation for major exams. The Ninja notes provided for the Chemistry course especially helped with familiarising myself with scientific concepts and memory work. The teachers are also very passionate and attentive and go out of their way to check up on my progress, and are also very open to questions, which allowed me to clarify a lot of my doubts during and even after lesson time. Very creative methods in memorising certain chemistry or math formula/concepts!

Teacher Neo's chem classes are insightful, engrossing and engaging. He manages to seamlessly simplify confusing topics into bite-sized forms, explaining tough concepts while teaching us how to apply them in tandem. While topics such as organic chemistry, salt preparation and electrolysis are understandabky daunting, the Classrooms extensive notes explain everything you need to know to ace the O levels! ( The classroom also has HELLO PANDA biscuit 10/10)

Jeremy is a very knowledgeable and inspiring teacher. His explanations were clear and concise. My daughter went to his science lab practice session and came home fully confident for her science practical. On top of that, he went beyond the practical session and revised with the class other important chemistry basics and concepts although the paid lesson did not include them. He is so passionate about helping his students excel in their exams. I would highly recommend Jeremy to anyone who is looking to improve and ace their chemistry paper. Thank you Jeremy! Before my mum signed up the chem and physics practical for me, I barely understand how the science practical work as I don’t really get the chance to go to the lab during school time.
I benefited greatly from it. Coach Jeremy explain in detail on how it works. The workshop covered much more than school and I enjoy it. He even went the extra mile to offer further help whenever we need.

My boy first joined Jeremy class at sec 3. His average score was B4 back then. Under Jeremy's tutelage, he became more confident in answering the questions and Jeremy made it easier with his answering techniques. Jeremy is patient and makes sure all of his students fully understand each topic clearly. Jeremy goes the extra mile if any of his students need abit more help. I really appreciate Jeremy's dedication.

Their concept initially was to combine both ecpress and NA students. Teacher Jeremy will observed n follow up on the students progress. After which he open up a class solely for NA students (even though there are only 3 students) upon observing that it helps them to focus more n learn better. My girl grades jumped from a C6 to a B3. Thank you!

Teacher Andy is a very dedicated teacher as he always shows his students examples on how to tackle different solutions to different math problems and not only that but he is also willing to answer every question that is posed to him with clear explanations and different examples. Teacher Andy highlights the student’s weaknesses in different topics and help them to overcome it. He has also helped my child to boost up his marks significantly . Overall Teacher Andy is an excellent teacher with great teaching .

Aimer is a wonderful teacher who is willing to go extra mile for his students. He knows how to handle my son and help him who is weak in maths to improve his grades. He is willing to stay outside his committed tuition time to bond with the students.

Teacher Andy Chang is very dedicated teacher who always make sure the pupils understand the topics. His method of teaching executed well, friendly towards the parents too. The centre is well managed, with Clara who always keep the parents informed with anything regarding the centres. During june 2023 holiday, we were away for a month holiday, since the centre was not close, they are happily arranged make up classes and zoom lessons as well. Very happy with the centre and the teacher!! Well done! and since attending the classes (sec 1), my daughter been scoring 90's.. Highly recommended!! Additional info, they kept the student ratio 1:8. The class room big enough with good lighting too. Condusive for the pupils to learn. So, 5 🌟 for the classroom math!! 👍😍

Initially, I joined The Classroom because I was really worried that I would find Chem hard to understand with the Sec 3 and Sec 4 topics. However, I really genuinely feel I gained a lot of confidence in Chem because Mr Jeremy's explanations are always really easy to understand and the practices we do every week help me recall everything. The notes we get are also really detailed and super helpful in consolidating everything together. I really appreciate how Mr Jeremy will always answer all our questions and explains questions to me even outside of tuition, sacrificing his free time to do so! I feel the learning environment was really conducive here and that was much more confident in and did well in my Chem!! Thank you so much :))

thanks to teacher jeremy, i was able to strengthen my foundation in chemistry, helping me to see a huge improvement in my grades. he is very patient and always takes his own personal time to answer any queries i might have, ensuring I grasped even the most challenging topics. his teaching methods made it easy and enjoyable to study and learn chemistry, which really helped in not only pushing my grades to an A, but also helped me enjoy learning chemistry. i can confidently say that his teaching has greatly impacted my learning and i highly recommend it to anyone looking to excel in chemistry!
